UV film sheet Cracking serial analysis of (a)

UV plate Cracking film series analysis

 (A) leaching Tu paint coating thickness

As a result of UV plate process in general lack of sanding, so many manufacturers to adopt to finish flattening thick coated finish, or to achieve full effect of film coating finish to increase the volume of 150 ~ 200 g / ㎡, which is no longer the inevitable cracking phenomenon arising from the following reasons:

1, selected showering the floor with UV coated finish. Flooring UV coated finish standard leaching coating of 80 ~ 110g / ㎡, if the coating lead to excessive back Wa Yan Mountain angry election?

2, film thickness under the conditions of sharp strong UV light curing, resulting in cracking finish. Theoretically speaking, the thicker coating of UV-curing need to pre-curing process, the general users of existing devices do not have this design, but in use are often strong-wide light-curing, rapid curing adhesive joint response back to the by-product can not be completely volatile, and the residual slipped in making the coating, leading to accelerated aging film rattle. Proposal to open the first half lamp light, the second all-optical curing lights.

3, UV light box drying temperature is too high. High temperature coating in soft conditions should return to light-cured, but when the temperature decreases, the film gradually shrink, will also further improve the hardness, which is caused by one of the reasons for cracking the paint film.

 Cracking may be caused by:

 1. Substrate also to heat, or UV-curable layer and the substrate does not match the lead to tension. Such as paper UV easily offset this situation.

 2. UV curing layer too hard or brittle lead, especially after the curing exist.

 3. UV curing too fast.

Suggestions: add some plasticizers or single functional group diluent; reduce the UV lamp power (wattage); to reduce the amount of initiator.
